Too funny! I found myself trying to match socks, like a puzzle to be solved. They are ALL singles! Enlist your crew to check the arms and legs of their little sweatpants and sweaters, the usual culprits in my household for missing socks.

Ah, excellent! a puzzle game! I forgot to mention in the post that these were the socks left over from the mismatch pile, after the kids found an entire laundry basket full of matches!!
