“Tomato People”

Today my four-year-old son told me while we were gardening, “Mama, I’m dust so happy cause I love drawing tomato people.” Here they are!

Learning to Pray

This lovely little picture is by my 6 1/2 year old daughter, who is much better at drawing than me! She is very excited about her First Communion coming up this June, and likes to express it through art. She told me, “This is a priest teaching a little girl the same prayer he learned when he was a little boy.”

Happy Spring!

Duties

I’m so happy to have my iPad mini back after months of battery failure…my awesome brother Winston took it to the Apple Store for me, and after charging me only for the battery, gave me a brand new iPad! Hurrah for Apple! Besides being able to take pictures and write anyplace, anytime, now I can make goofy cartoons again…

“Girls are thinking.”

My 6 year old says about her art:

I like to imagine pegasus flying in the sky. I made a drawing of a girl and she is thinking of helping her mother….holding the baby, feeding the dog, how fancy she could be as a princess, loving others, and seeing the bright star when Jesus was born.

A child’s farm fantasy

What a beautiful, fun place the world is through a child’s eyes! A few of my kids had fun working on this one together. Love what they get up to while I do the dishes!

Jesus

My 9 year old daughter had fun drawing this while she watched a documentary with her Dad.

Gotta love the feminine touches!
