I thought it would be fun to have place to display some of the endless art projects and cards I’m the lucky recipient of as the mom of 5 creative kids. I think it was Picasso who said that every child is an artist, until they grow up and forget how…
Rather than posting pictures individually, I thought I’d make a page that I can update any time with new artwork, so that grandmas, aunties, and any other children’s art aficionados, can check whenever they like. I’ll also have a place to look back at their art, without keeping it all forever and swimming in paper clutter…
Most recent work will be at the top of the page, and I’ll label my little artists’ work by age. Hope you enjoy it!
Fun With Paint with Water Book, age 6
Fall Leaves Collage, age 6, 8 and 33 (yup, that’s me…really got into this one)
Fruitful Brokenness, age 33 (some more art therapy!)
Foam People of the World, age 8
Me and Baby Sister with Angels, age 4
Dragon Picture inspired by great children’s book: “The Day the Crayons Quit,” age 6.
Furniture, age 8.
Fire Truck from “Crayons Quit” book, age 6.
Here’s my oldest little artist, then 6, now almost 8!
Funny, the day before I saw her painting I had taken this winter sunset picture myself!
Here’s another little artist, working away with her apron on…
Crazy Hair Doodle, age 3. This made me laugh so much the first time I saw it!
Purple Power Ranger on TV, age 3
It’s amazing how they each have their own distinct style…my five year old is quite minimalist; she likes to leave white space and work with stickers.
Twilight Sparkle and Spike, age 5. She also likes colouring books.
Finger Painting Fun, age 2. She’s not afraid to get her hands dirty! And then come chasing me for a hug, while I chase her to the bathroom to wash up!
This is one creative bunch of squirrels indeed! Impressive indeed!
